Where I am from

I am from the rain,
the wet sand and the sound of the ocean.
I am from cream with essence of coffee,
butter croissants and bacon.
All nighters and football games.
I am from green plants and camp fires,
wandering walks and Peggy sue.
I am from the smell of morning and long runs,
chocolate chip cookies and laughter.
I am from daydreamers and fallen leaves,
and the comforts of imagination.
